So if you are interested in walking around our beautiful neighborhood just to get some exercise and enjoy the scenery, join up! We can set times and days depending on member schedules. Currently we are meeting on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings either 5:30 pm or 6 pm. We are walking two to four miles.

The hikes range generally from 2-4 miles and easy to moderate. There are some hikes that will be moderate-difficult to difficult, so please check the skill level of a hike before you RSVP. Also, given the fact that many of our hikes now have waiting lists, we've started a new NO-SHOW policy. If you RSVP for a hike w …

Meet new friends, get in shape and pass the time with great conversation. We'll be walking about 3 miles around the streets of Sierra Madre. It's a little hilly, but a fairly easy walk. We can switch up the routes to keep it interesting. Maybe we could walk up to Mary's Market, in the Canyon, for breakfast occasionally.
We are a group of 20- and 30-somethings interested in meeting new friends in the greater L.A. area while enjoying the outdoors through hiking, camping, backpacking, beach-combing, playing volleyball and other fun experiences. We like to have fun, but we also want to stay safe. For that reason, each hike is reviewed by our organization before posting to make sure at least two qualified volunteer leaders trained in CPR and basic First Aid are involved, and we ask that all hikers stay between the l …
I am grateful for what someone shared with me recently: "The day after doing The Work with you Jeff I awoke feeling better than I had in years." What a gift The Work can be, in my experience too: I show people how to meet their most stressful thoughts and limiting beliefs, with 4 Questions and the Turnaround. A very simple process, which can be deeply transforming, The Work of Byron Katie® (www.thework.com) can help one move through chronic, troubling thoughts about others, life, themselves. Com …

There are quite a few 'peak lists' in California and we like to climb them. Some are easy and good trails lead to the top. Others are long, difficult cross-country routes and may require some roped sections. Please evaluate the proposed hike/climb to be within your capabilities. As many/most of these hikes will be new to all attending, everyone should have studied the route, copied topo maps, have your GPS loaded with waypoints, and be prepared to 'help' with route finding on the difficult one …

We meet up every chance we get, sometimes for breakfast beforehand, and then fish whichever lake, river, stream, creek, or mud hole the DFG just stocked. We go to the ocean ( not normally stocked b …
I'm looking for people in the Corona area who enjoy scrapbooking and/or creating art journals and altered books. I'm not selling anything! Nor do I intend to charge for meetings. Just looking for some people who would like to get together and create! We could have some crops, share ideas, inspire each other, and just have some fun and relaxation! I'm in Sierra del Oro, in the Green River area of Corona, but we can meet somewhere convenient for everyone.
