A very simple process, which can be deeply transforming, The Work of Byron Katie® (www.thework.com) can help one move through chronic, troubling thoughts about others, life, themselves. Com …

We are a group of 20- and 30-somethings interested in meeting new friends in the greater L.A. area while enjoying the outdoors through hiking, camping, backpacking, beach-combing, playing volleyball and other fun experiences. We like to have fun, but we also want to stay safe. For that reason, each hike is reviewed by our organization before posting to make sure at least two qualified volunteer leaders trained in CPR and basic First Aid are involved, and we ask that all hikers stay between the l …

Sierra Singles, a Sierra Club group, does not require membership in the Sierra Club to participate (although you may like the events and want to join). The group offers local events. The hikes range generally from 2-4 miles and easy to moderate. There are some hikes that will be moderate-difficult to difficult, so please check the skill level of a hike before you RSVP. Also, given the fact that many of our hikes now have waiting lists, we've started a new NO-SHOW policy. If you RSVP for a hike w …
Meet new friends, get in shape and pass the time with great conversation. We'll be walking about 3 miles around the streets of Sierra Madre. It's a little hilly, but a fairly easy walk. We can switch up the routes to keep it interesting. Maybe we could walk up to Mary's Market, in the Canyon, for breakfast occasionally.
Come join the Griffith Park Section of the Sierra Club for our evening conditioning hikes and other events. Enjoy our hikes and learn the trails with experienced and well trained hike leaders. I am looking for other families in the upper San Gabriel Valley area (Pasadena, Sierra Madre, Arcadia, Altadena, Monrovia, Duarte) who would like to get together with our Tween Aspies for hanging out and socialization. I don't know about you, but we spend a lot of time in the Neurotypical world, but we could really use some good friends in Aspie world.
